Anke Holm

Anke was born in Hamburg, Germany where she lived and worked for 35 years. Her studies in economics resulted in employment as an auditor with a chartered accounting firm followed by a managerial position with an oil trading company which took her to many places throughout the world. Further travels as a tourist also brought Anke to Nova Scotia and an entire new chapter of her life began when she fell in love with the Maritimes and decided to emigrate to the Provinceâs south shore in 1995. The move represented a major lifestyle change for her amid the fantastic scenery and wonderful people of Nova Scotia and a few months later she embarked on her career as a Realtor in her new âheimatâ. Her innate sense of adventure has motivated Anke to explore a variety of different endeavours such as ultralight flying, golfing and motor-biking. She has studied interior design and discovered she has a passion for creating glass-art. Today her work can be found in a number of galleries. As Realtor she finds it easy to relate to her clientsâ dreams of a new home or get-away and she derives great satisfaction from helping them fulfill those dreams.
