Transportation

The preferred way to navigate Whatcom is usually a car. Accessing a parking spot is quite easy, and it is a reasonably short drive to the closest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, from any location in Whatcom. On the other hand, this area is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, property owners benefit from a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most residences. This part of Abbotsford is not especially conducive to cycling because bicycling is made strenuous by the typically sloping terrain, and there are few bike lanes. Many of the homes for sale in this area are located in places that are also not very well-suited for those who travel by foot as few daily needs can be met by walking.
