The neighbourhood of Quadra can be found in the municipality of Saanich, British Columbia, which is located in the Greater Victoria metropolitan area.

Transportation

This part of Saanich will draw physically active house buyers because it is conducive to those who travel by foot; many common errands can be run without having to resort to a car, and there are also a fair number of businesses in proximity. Riding a bike is very embraced in Quadra as the bicycling infrastructure is well-developed. The public transit system in Quadra is somewhat poor. Thankfully, there are around 10 bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are ordinarily nearby. However, this part of the municipality is a very good part of Saanich for driving. It is a reasonably short drive to the closest highway from anywhere in Quadra, and parking is generally easy.

Services

The nearest supermarket in Quadra is generally only a short walk away. Additionally, a restaurant is often just around the corner, and residents can enjoy a few cafes as well. When it comes to education, it is a reasonably short walk to reach schools and daycares from most homes for sale in this neighbourhood.

Character

The character of Quadra is exemplified by its calm environment. This area is very quiet overall, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue. Lastly, there are about 20 green spaces close by for residents to discover, such as Cedar Hill Park and Swan Lake Nature Sanctuary, and they are especially well-spread out, which makes them very easy to reach.

Housing

Single detached homes are the predominant housing type, representing roughly 45% of buildings in Quadra, and the rest are mainly small apartment buildings and duplexes.
