If you need a realtor, Joel is definitely your guy!! We like to call him uncle Joel behind his back because he really is more of a family member or friend than the stranger my husband and I met at an open house 6 or so years ago.
He's helped us navigate some very challenging housing markets, stressful situations, and talked sense into us when we needed it most. Joel is the perfect realtor to go on an adventure of searching for your dream home with! Our journey started with getting to know each other to ensure they we have a great relationship and make sure we’re all on the same page as to how the house buying process will be. Joel had been very insightful, thoughtful, and helpful throughout the whole remote home buying process. This is our first home buying experience and he is extremely patient with us and he taught us so much about all the features in a house that we never know existed. He has also been very honest about the house and explained the risks if we were to get the house and the cost of having those problems resolved. He also recommends a very nice mortgage broker and solicitor. He even offers help to take care of the house before we move in.

My search for a real estate agent to sell my cottage was filled with some anxiety, as I didn’t know any agents, and was concerned that all the good agents might decline to assist in the selling of a property located 90 minutes outside the city. A long-time friend recommended that I contact Joel Green from CENTURY 21 Bachman & Associates, and I am sure glad I did. From the beginning, Joel advised me on every step that would be taken to sell my cottage, and he made the experience enjoyable. He explained all the costs in selling, and developed a timeline for the development of the listing, viewing the cottage and taking photos, activating the listing, receiving and accepting offers, and closing the purchase. This was the first time I had sold property, and throughout the process, Joel displayed patience and understanding as he answered my many questions. He was easily available by text or email, responded to messages quickly, and communicated with me frequently, providing regular updates. He conducted a review of the cottage market and provided a list of comparable properties and their prices. Joel impressed me by his commitment to an ethical approach to real estate transactions, as evidenced by working with me to establish a selling price that would be fair for both the buyer and seller. He set a date to accept offers, and met with me later on that day to review the offers. We reviewed each offer thoughtfully, in a process that lasted well over two hours. He never rushed the process, and did not push me to accept any particular offer. The cottage sold for above asking. I highly recommend Joel Green to anyone in need of a real estate agent, and I will call upon Joel again when I sell my principal residence. He is knowledgeable, ethical, supportive and kind. He exudes all the qualities of a trusted professional, as well as those of a good friend.
