The community of Antrim is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent means of transportation in this part of Halifax. Parking is easy. This community is not very cycling-friendly because there are very few bike lanes, and the topography is not very flat. A majority of the houses for sale in this area are located in areas that are also not very well-suited for walking because almost no daily errands can be run without having to resort to a vehicle.

Services

This area does not contain any high schools or primary schools. Concerning eating, home buyers in this community almost always have to rely on a car to travel to the nearest supermarket.

Character

Antrim offers a slower-paced environment. Most areas in Antrim are very quiet, as the streets tend to be very peaceful. Parks aren't well-located, which makes them very hard to access.

Housing

Single detached homes are the most common housing type, representing the vast majority of buildings in Antrim, and the remainder are mainly mobile homes.
