Part of the Greater Sudbury metropolitan area, Coniston is a community within Greater Sudbury, Ontario.

Transportation

Cars are an excellent mode of transportation in this area. Parking is generally easy, and it is a very short drive to the nearest highway from any home in this part of Greater Sudbury. However, the public transit service in this area is not very frequent. Nevertheless, house owners have access to a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is generally just around the corner. The bike is a fairly poor mode of transportation in Coniston because there is a considerable amount of hills, and the bicycling infrastructure is not very extensive. Travelling on foot is also not very practical for home buyers in Coniston since most day-to-day needs are challenging to carry out by walking.
