The best transportation option in this area is usually a car. Parking is quite easy. On the other hand, Lively is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines crossing the community, and the closest bus stop is typically just around the corner. The bike is a sometimes poor method of transportation in this part of Greater Sudbury since the cycling network is rather poor, and the terrain is not especially flat. Nevertheless, a good number of families choose to travel by bicycle. It is also challenging for pedestrians to move around in this area as many daily needs are impractical to carry out without having to resort to a car.
