Transportation

The car is very often the best transportation option in Val Therese. It is especially convenient to come across a parking spot. However, public transit users may have limited options in Val Therese as a result of the infrequent service. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines, and it is very convenient to find a nearby bus stop from most residences. Despite the fact that the topography is flat, the bicycle is a sometimes poor method of transportation in this community as there are few bike lanes. Many of the homes for sale in this part of the city are located in places that are also not very well-suited for walking because very few day-to-day errands can be run without having to resort to a car.

Services

House buyers in Val Therese generally have to rely on a car to buy their groceries. As far as education is concerned, primary schools and daycares are convenient to access on foot from most houses for sale in this community. In contrast, this area does not contain any high schools.

Character

The character of Val Therese is exemplified by its slower-paced environment. Green spaces are easy to get to since there are a few of them close by for residents to visit. This community is also very good for those who prefer quiet surroundings, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue.

Housing

Single detached homes are the most common housing type, representing almost all dwellings in Val Therese, whereas the remainder are mainly duplexes. This community is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy nearly 90% of the dwellings in the community while renters occupy the remainder. Around one third of properties in this area were constructed in the 1960s and 1970s, while many of the remaining buildings were built pre-1960 and in the 1980s.
