Transportation

Delhi is an extremely convenient part of Norfolk County for driving. Parking is easy, and it is a reasonably short car ride to the closest highway from anywhere in Delhi. However, Delhi is not an especially pleasant part of Norfolk County for travelling by public transit. Nonetheless, property owners have access to a few bus lines, and it is convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most properties. Delhi is not very conducive to biking because the bicycling infrastructure is rather poor, and the area is not especially flat. It is also difficult for pedestrians to navigate this part of the city since most daily needs are at times challenging to meet on foot.

Services

It is typically possible for home buyers in this community to buy groceries on foot. A small number of restaurants and cafes are available as well. As far as education is concerned, parents and their schoolchildren will appreciate that no matter where their property is situated in this part of the city, both primary and secondary schools are close by.

Character

The character of Delhi is exemplified by its calm environment. Delhi is especially quiet, as the streets tend to be very tranquil.

Housing

The predominant housing types in Delhi are single detached homes and townhouses. This community is primarily composed of two bedroom and three bedroom homes. Around three quarters of the units in the community are occupied by homeowners while the rest are rented. The homes in this part of Norfolk County are quite old, because roughly 45% of its dwellings were built pre-1960, while many of the remaining buildings were built in the 1960s and the 2000s.
