Transportation

O'Neill is reasonably bicycling-friendly since there are a good number of bike lanes. Active people will also be pleased with the quite pedestrian-friendly nature of this area; running common errands is easy on foot, and a fair number of businesses of different types can be found as well. O'Neill is not an especially pleasant part of Oshawa for travelling by public transit. Thankfully, there are approximately 10 bus lines, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. In contrast, the preferred way to move around in this neighbourhood is often a car. It is a rather short car ride to the nearest highway from any location in O'Neill, and it is easy to park.

Services

It is straightforward to get to the nearest grocery store on foot in O'Neill. Furthermore, O'Neill is a fairly good place in which to eat out, for example on Simcoe Street, and residents are served by a few cafes as well. As far as education is concerned, parents and their schoolchildren will appreciate the proximity to schools and daycares, which are within walking distance from vast majority houses for sale in this area. At the elementary level, there are both public and private schools.

O'Neill offers a wide variety of green spaces to enjoy, as well as some areas with a vibrant atmosphere. It is very easy to get to parks since there are approximately 10 of them close by for residents to explore. This neighbourhood has many areas that are very serene and quiet; however other spots can be noisy, especially.
