The neighbourhood of Mount Pleasant is part of the city of Pickering, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

Mount Pleasant is an extremely good part of Pickering for travelling by car. It is especially convenient to access a parking spot. This part of Pickering is not very bicycling-friendly because there are few bike lanes, and there are a fair number of elevation changes. Walking is also not very feasible for property owners in Mount Pleasant as almost no common errands can be run on foot.

Services

Mount Pleasant does not contain any high schools or primary schools. As far as food is concerned, a car is almost always required in this part of the city to reach the closest supermarket.

Character

The character of Mount Pleasant is exemplified by its relaxed atmosphere. Mount Pleasant is very quiet overall, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue. Parks are sparse, which makes it very difficult to reach them.
