Mount Forest is a neighbourhood within Thunder Bay, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Thunder Bay metropolitan area.

Transportation

This area is very car friendly. It is very convenient to access a place to park. It is difficult to get around by bike in Mount Forest as the cycling infrastructure is not very well-developed, and the area is not especially flat. A majority of the homes for sale in this part of Thunder Bay are located in places that are also not very convenient for those who travel by foot because carrying out daily needs is very impractical.

Services

Home buyers in Mount Forest almost always have to use a car to shop for their groceries. With respect to education, there are only a very small number of primary schools in this part of the city and therefore they can be a very long walk away. Moreover, Mount Forest does not have any high schools. Additionally, families may consider it difficult to reach daycares as a pedestrian.
