Transportation

Cars are a very good transportation option in Westfort. Nearby highways are quite easy to reach from any location in this part of Thunder Bay, and it is convenient to park. In contrast, travelling by public transit is challenging in Westfort. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most houses. The bicycle is a good mode of transportation in this neighbourhood since there are few hills to challenge cyclists. This part of the city is not particularly well-suited for those who travel by foot as many daily needs are sometimes difficult to meet by walking.

Services

It is a reasonably short walk to reach schools and daycares from most homes for sale in Westfort. Families have the choice between public and private schools at both the elementary and high school level.
