The neighbourhood of Beechwood is part of the city of Waterloo, Ontario, which is located in the Kitchener - Cambridge - Waterloo metropolitan area.

Transportation

A fair number of residents in the area use their bike because the bicycling network is reasonably good. Beechwood is also a fairly pleasant part of Waterloo for pedestrians; many common errands can be run on foot. Public transit users may find limited options in this area as a result of the service's low frequency. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most houses. However, driving is a fairly good mode of transportation in Beechwood. Parking is generally easy.

Services

Parents and their children will welcome that wherever their house is situated in Beechwood, daycares and primary schools are close by. However, Beechwood does not contain any high schools. Families have the choice between public and private elementary schools.
