Sector C is a neighbourhood within Brossard, Quebec, which is situated in the Greater Montreal metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is a very good means of transportation in sector C. It is a reasonably short car ride to the nearest highway, such as Autoroute de l'Acier, from any location in this area, and it is easy to come across a parking spot. In contrast, the public transit service in sector C is not especially frequent. Nonetheless, commuters can depend on Du Quartier on the Gare Centrale - Brossard. The neighbourhood is connected by approximately 10 bus lines, and bus stops are ordinarily nearby. This area is quite conducive to biking as it is a flat ride to most locations, and sector C has a fairly good bicycling infrastructure. However, there are relatively few pedestrians out on the streets of sector C, although meeting daily needs is easy on foot.

Services

It is sometimes possible for house buyers in this part of Brossard to purchase their groceries by walking. There are also a limited number of opportunities for those who appreciate close by restaurants and cafes. Concerning education, parents and their children will value that no matter where their property is located in this area, daycares are nearby. On the other hand, there are only a few primary schools in sector C and therefore they can be a long walk away. Likewise, sector C does not have any high schools.

Character

Sector C is a great neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a calm ambience. This area is very quiet overall, as the streets are generally very peaceful - although there are still several noisier sections, especially near Autoroute de l'Acier or Autoroute des Cantons-de-l'Est. Finally, greenery is not prominent in this part of Brossard; although, there are a few parks close by for residents to explore and they are very well-spread out, which makes it easy to access them.

Small apartment buildings are the predominant housing type, representing most dwellings in sector C, and the remaining properties are mainly single detached homes and townhouses. A majority of the housing growth in this part of the city has taken place after the year 2000. This part of Brossard is primarily composed of one bedroom and two bedroom homes.
