Transportation

Travelling by car is very easy in Pointe Théoret. It is very convenient to park. Walking is not very practical for property owners in this area because meeting daily needs is impractical without a vehicle. Bicycling is also at times difficult in Pointe Théoret since there are a fair number of elevation changes for cyclists to brave, and the cycling infrastructure is not very well-developed.

Services

Pointe Théoret does not contain any high schools or primary schools. Additionally, parents may find it very difficult for their children to get to daycares on foot. With regards to eating, property owners in Pointe Théoret almost always have to turn to a car to shop for their groceries.

Character

Pointe Théoret is a wonderful neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a relaxed ambience. The noise levels in this part of Montréal are very low, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Lastly, greenery is very present in this area as the tree canopy coverage for the majority of streets is great. Although the neighbourhood does not contain any parks, green spaces are especially well-spread out in nearby neighbourhoods, which results in them being easy to reach from most locations within this area.

Single detached homes are the most common housing type, representing the majority of dwellings in Pointe Théoret, and the remaining dwellings are mainly small apartment buildings. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy roughly 80% of the units in Pointe Théoret while the remainder are rented. Roughly 60% of the homes in this neighbourhood were constructed in the 1960s and 1970s, while many of the remaining buildings were built pre-1960.
