Snowdon will attract physically active people since it is very well-suited for walking; most day-to-day errands can be run without having to use a vehicle, and numerous businesses are close by. This part of Montréal is also appropriate for cycling. Getting around by public transit is straightforward in Snowdon due to a multitude of nearby rapid transit stations on the Ligne 2 - Orange and Ligne 5 - Bleue, and about 10 nearby bus lines. Driving is also a fairly good transportation option in this part of Montréal. It is a very short drive to the nearest highway, such as Autoroute Décarie, from anywhere in Snowdon.
