Transportation

Austin East is an extraordinarily good part of Prince George for driving. Accessing a parking spot is quite easy. In contrast, commuting by transit can be difficult in this part of the city due to the low service level. Thankfully, residents are served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most houses. Most homes for sale in this part of the city are located in places that are not very well-suited for walking as carrying out daily needs is inconvenient on foot. Cycling is also difficult in Austin East as there are a fair number of slopes for cyclists to brave, and the cycling infrastructure is not very extensive.

Services

Parents and their children will welcome that wherever their home is situated in Austin East, primary schools and daycares are close by. However, there are no high schools in Austin East. In terms of food, accessing the closest grocery store on foot is practical for some, but not all, home buyers in this part of Prince George. There are also a few opportunities for those who care about close by restaurants.

Character

Austin East is a very good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a slower-paced ambience.
