Transportation

Driving is an excellent mode of transportation in this neighbourhood. Many properties for sale are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway, and finding a parking spot is easy. However, the public transit network in this part of the city is not very accessible. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and it is straightforward to get to a nearby bus stop from most houses. Moving around by bicycle is challenging in Chief Lake since there are very few bike lanes, and there are a fair number of slopes. It is also very impractical for pedestrians to navigate Chief Lake because very few day-to-day errands can be run on foot.

Services

There are only a limited number of primary schools in Chief Lake and thus they can be an extended walk away. Likewise, this area does not contain any high schools. In terms of eating, in all cases, a car is required to do groceries. There are a few choices for those who value nearby restaurants.

The character of Chief Lake is exemplified by its calm ambience. This area is quiet overall, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic.
