The community of Courtland is part of the city of Norfolk County, Ontario, which is situated in the Norfolk metropolitan area.

Transportation

Courtland is an extremely good part of Norfolk County for travelling by car. Parking is easy, and most real estate listings are a short drive from the nearest highway. On the other hand, Courtland is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, the community is connected by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is typically close by. Getting around by bicycle is challenging in Courtland since the cycling network is quite poor. Nevertheless, riding is facilitated by the generally flat terrain.
