Transportation

This neighbourhood is an extraordinarily good part of Québec for moving around by car. It is very convenient to find a place to park, and it is a reasonably short drive to the nearest highway, such as Autoroute Henri-IV, from anywhere in this neighbourhood. In contrast, the public transit service in this area is not very frequent. Thankfully, there are approximately 20 bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and the closest bus stop is typically very close. Moving around by bicycle is easy in this area. This area is not especially conducive to walking since few common errands can be run without needing to use a car.

Services

The closest grocery store in this area is typically only a rather short walk away. There are also a few opportunities for those who value nearby restaurants and cafes. When it comes to education, in Des Châtels, parents and their children will usually be able to reach primary schools and daycares by walking. However, there are only a few high schools and consequently they can be an extended walk away. Residents can choose between public and private schools at both the elementary and secondary school level.

Character
