The neighbourhood of Downtown Regina can be found in the city of Regina, Saskatchewan, which is located in the Greater Regina metropolitan area.

Transportation

This neighbourhood will appeal to homeowners that use various means of transportation. Downtown has a fairly good public transit infrastructure. For instance, homeowners benefit from approximately 10 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most residences. Physically active people will also be pleased with the quite walk-friendly nature of Downtown; most daily needs are convenient to carry out on foot, and a good number of businesses of different types can be found as well. It is easy to travel by bicycle in Downtown because the bicycling network is good, and riding is facilitated by the generally flat terrain.

Services

In Downtown, families will usually be able to get to daycares and primary schools on foot. In contrast, this neighbourhood does not have any high schools. In terms of food, it is easy to access both a general and a specialty grocery store by walking from any home in Downtown. Likewise, this part of Regina is a good place in which to eat out or go to a cafe.

Character

Downtown offers a wide variety of green spaces to enjoy, as well as some areas with a vibrant atmosphere. Reaching parks is easy from most locations in the neighbourhood since there are a few of them nearby for residents to unwind in.
